Albi
Between mountains and the river Tarn, home of the Cathedrale of Ste. Cécile, jewel of gothic architecture, where during the days of the Cathares, incredible pages of history were written. The center of the Age of Pastel, from whence the area became known as the 'Land of Cocagne'. The Protestants sought shelter here during the Reformation.
The city that Lapérouse and Toulouse-Lautrec, to name a few, called home.
Sun and ochre, cypress, vineyards, gastronomie, and, of course la vie douce of the Midi.
Albi is a 45 minute drive from the Atelier.
