The Lac de St Ferréol is approximately 20 minutes away by car. It is a beautiful lake with a famous barrage built by Paul Riquet to feed the canal du Midi. Set in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park, in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, the Lac de St Ferréol is surrounded by pine trees and a well tended path and beach. It is an idyllic spot for swimming and leisurely picnics.
