FLIGHTS
The best prices from the UK can be obtained from Easy Jet, which flies from London Gatwick to Toulouse, and Ryan Air from London Stansted to Carcassone. Their respective websites are:

The earlier the bookings are made, the lower the prices paid. It is therefore recommended to book as early as possible by Internet, which is cheaper than telephone booking. Other international travellers could either fly to London Gatwick with an international airline and pre-book Easy Jet return flights Gatwick/Toulouse -see above-, or fly to Paris Orly Airport and pre-book Easy Jet flights return to Toulouse, or Air France flights to Toulouse which operate from both Orly and Charles de Gaulle Airports.

CAR RENTAL/ TAXIS
For travellers from the UK the best car rental rates are also obtained from both Easy Jet and Ryan Air. It is therefore convenient to make a car rental booking at the same time as the flight, using the links available in their respective websites. Other international travellers may find even better rates in their country, at the time of booking their flights. Evidently, car rental allows more freedom of movement for touring the region.
However, for those not wishing to drive in France, we can arrange transport by Taxi to and from either Airport or train station for 80 Euros maximum each journey. If lodged in Puylaurens, we will organise complimentary transport to and from the Atelier. Those lodged outside Puylaurens will need to avail themselves of taxi services, which, for example, would cost 20 Euros from St Ferréol (Hotellerie du Lac) to the Atelier.
